Offcanvas Section

You can publish whatever you want in the Offcanvas Section. It can be any module or particle.

By default, the available module positions are offcanvas-a and offcanvas-b but you can add as many module positions as you want from the Layout Manager.

You can also add the hidden-phone module class suffix to your modules so they do not appear in the Offcanvas Section when the site is loaded on a mobile device.

Spring Aspen Recovery is led by Sarah Humble, a Denver-based peer recovery coach, trainer, and educator who combines lived experience with advanced coach training.

Sarah works one-on-one with adults seeking recovery support, with a particular commitment to LGBTQ+ people. She helps clients clarify goals, build sustainable routines, strengthen accountability, navigate resources, and move through change without shame or judgment.

Training and qualifications

Peer recovery coach trainer and educator

Sarah trains peer recovery coaches and has helped facilitate Peer Specialist/Recovery Coach certification training. That experience brings a strong grounding in peer-support ethics, communication, advocacy, recovery planning, resource navigation, and the responsible use of lived experience. She has also taught continuing education on peer support for the LGBTQ+ community.

Martha Beck Certified Wayfinder Life Coach

Wayfinder Life Coach training develops practical methods for navigating change, identifying values, challenging unhelpful beliefs, and turning insight into meaningful action. Sarah uses these tools to help clients reconnect with their own knowledge, choices, and sense of direction. This credential is separate from an International Coaching Federation credential.

International Master Addictions Coach® (IMAC)

The International Master Addictions Coach credential reflects advanced coach training across substance-related, behavioral, family, mental-health, harm-reduction, and relapse-prevention concerns. It strengthens Sarah’s ability to recognize complex recovery needs, support practical change, work appropriately with families, and refer clients to clinical care when needs fall outside coaching.

Certified Grief Coach

Sarah’s grief-coaching training supports forward-focused, non-clinical work with people adjusting to death and other significant losses. Sessions can focus on daily functioning, changing roles and routines, personal meaning, and manageable next steps. Grief coaching does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions.

Colorado Psychiatric Advance Directives

Sarah has subject-matter expertise in Colorado Psychiatric Advance Directives (PADs) and has presented PAD education in Colorado. A PAD allows a person to document preferences about future psychiatric treatment and may name an agent to help carry out those instructions. Sarah can provide education and practical support; she does not provide legal advice or replace an attorney or healthcare professional.

Our mission

Our mission is to offer steady, respectful, practical peer support that helps clients build confidence, stability, and a life that reflects their own goals and values.

Who we work with

We work with adults who may be beginning recovery, returning after a setback, strengthening an established recovery plan, grieving a loss, or preparing to enter treatment. Spring Aspen Recovery is committed to identity-affirming support for LGBTQ+ individuals.

Our approach

  • Empowerment: you remain the decision-maker in your recovery.
  • Accountability: clear goals, practical follow-through, and honest support.
  • Lived experience: guidance from someone who understands both the challenges and victories of recovery.
  • Connection: help navigating appointments, treatment options, and community resources.
  • Respect: support without shame, judgment, or pressure to hide who you are.
Scope of practice: Peer recovery and grief coaching are non-clinical services. They are not psychotherapy, medical treatment, detoxification, diagnosis, legal advice, or emergency care.
