Help navigating options so the next connection is informed, appropriate, and affirming.
The behavioral health system can be difficult to navigate, especially during a crisis or transition. Spring Aspen Recovery helps clients identify questions, compare options, and connect with resources suited to their goals and circumstances.
Referral support may include
- Detoxification, residential, inpatient, outpatient, and medication-based treatment options
- LGBTQ+-affirming therapists and behavioral health providers
- Mutual-aid and peer-support communities
- Grief, housing, harm-reduction, legal, and social-service resources
- Questions to ask about licensing, insurance, cost, clinical approach, and identity-affirming care
Referrals are not guarantees of admission, availability, insurance coverage, clinical fit, or outcomes. Clients are encouraged to verify credentials and make their own informed decisions.
Making the referral fit the person
Sarah helps narrow the search around the person’s actual needs: appropriate level of care, location, cost and insurance, accessibility, medication needs, transportation, LGBTQ+ affirmation, family involvement, and communication preferences. Together, you can identify questions to ask providers and organize the next steps without treating one program as the right answer for everyone.
Questions worth asking: Is the program licensed? What services and credentials are available? How are emergencies handled? What will insurance cover? How does the program support identity, accessibility, medications, family communication, and continuing care?
