Supported transportation when a client is entering treatment or needs a safe, recovery-focused transition.
Spring Aspen Recovery can coordinate logistics, provide emotional reassurance, and personally transport a client to an agreed treatment facility or appointment. The goal is a calm, respectful trip and a supported arrival.
Planning may include
- Confirming the destination, admission time, and contact person
- Coordinating with the client, family, or treatment team as authorized
- Reviewing practical needs for the trip
- Offering steady support during the transition
- Confirming a safe handoff at arrival
Availability, distance, pricing, safety requirements, and boundaries are discussed before transport is scheduled. Sober transport is not an ambulance, emergency response, restraint service, or secure medical transportation.
Before a transport is scheduled
Sarah works through the details that make a supported transition safer and less overwhelming: the client’s needs and preferences, pickup timing, destination requirements, what to bring, who may receive updates, and how the handoff will occur. The plan is individualized rather than treated as a standard ride.
Helpful details to gather: destination and admission contact, requested arrival time, expected travel distance, authorized support contacts, mobility or accessibility needs, and instructions from the receiving program.
